YOU are invited to enter our 8th biannual Community Art Show!
When is the show?
The show will be displayed in the gallery during the month of November. Artwork must be dropped off between Oct 23rd and 30th, and any unsold work must be picked up by Dec 3rd.
There will be a reception on Nov 10th from 4:30-6pm with People’s Choice Awards presented at 5:30pm. Peoples choice voting begins as soon as the show is hung, so let your friends and family know they should stop in early to vote if they are unable to attend the reception.
How do I enter?
Stop in pARTiculars to register and pick up your 6″x6″ cradleboard!
Can I enter more than 1 piece?
Yes! You can enter up to two 6×6 pieces for the show. You will be guaranteed to have at least one piece hung, with the other in reserve to replace pieces that sell.
What can I create?
As long as you create using the cradleboard that we provide, the sky is the limit! Paint, Draw, Collage, Mixed media……We can’t wait to see what you do!
Can my piece extend beyond the 6×6 cradleboard?
We ask that you do not extend your piece more than an inch past any side of your board, including framing if you choose to frame.
Do I have to sell my finished piece?
Yes! You are free to price your artwork however you like, but your piece must be for sale. Please Note that we do this show to build community and for artists to meet others during the reception and to provide a place for the community to show off their talents.
How much does it cost to enter?
it costs $20 to enter one piece of artwork, which includes the cradleboard for you to create on. One additional craddleboard can be purchased for an additional $10. We use the money collected to cover marketing, cradleboard purchases, reception and awards expenses.
How much will I make on any pieces that are sold?
You will receive 70% of the asking price of any piece we sell for you.
