APRIL CHRISTENSON, Teacher; Colored Pencil, Pen and Ink, Watercolor

April has been working in colored pencil and pen and ink since the 1990’s. Her love of the outdoors and western landscapes shows in her work.  Retired from Boulder Valley Schools after 27 years of teaching elementary art she now spends more time on her own art work. Her art program won a national Kennedy Center Award for Excellence in Art Education. April is a popular teacher specializing in multiple kinds of drawing , pen & ink, and colored pencils
