Laurie Adams
Laurie comes from an artistic family so has always been exposed to the arts and began developing her artistic style in grade school.
As an adult she fell in love with watercolors. Currently she works out of her home studio while also pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a painting concentration at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
In addition to watercolors, she also is adept at charcoal, mixed media such as paper and collage, acrylic and water-based oils. Her typical style is based on realism, but she also likes to experiment with different ways of creating art. Her subject matter is also varied; she loves creating people, animals, landscapes, still-life, architecture, etc. Recent themes have involved memory and nostalgia.
She is also available for commissions and private instruction.
