Although I wasn’t born in Colorado, I have called it home for over five decades.I grew up in Greeley, making my way to Loveland in my late teens. I worked in the secretarial field in public education for my entire career. I have one son and two grandchildren.
My love for glass art began over twenty years ago when I made my first commissioned purchase. Upon retirement five years ago, I began to experiment with glass cutting and kiln forming. My artistic goal is to use color and design to mimic movement and nature via abstract and concrete design. I believe using the entire color wheel brings a joyous wonder to art, as the rainbow was always a childhood delight.
My husband is also an artist, and uses his Native American heritage designs to create beautiful paintings. When not creating in the studio, I enjoy hiking, biking and traveling.
