Always dreamed of painting on site in Italy? Now is your chance. Join oil painter and teacher, Jeanne Hougan for a 2 week painting trip to Italy. We will be gone from Sept. 14-27, 2019. First, we will stay on the shores of Lake Como in a lovely hotel in Varena where we will paint gardens, water and lovely old buildings. The food at the hotel is wonderful and the scenery out-of-this world. Next, we will take a train to Florence where we will stay in a fantastic villa and vineyard just outside the city. There is so much to paint in the area..vinyards, cyprus trees, flowers and old country buildings. We will also have the opportunity for day trips to Florence to see David and other famous art as well as other lovely towns in the area. Jeanne is an accomplished painter both indoors and outside. She will enlighten us with her instruction, experience and painting tips. Cost is $3200 for painters and $3100 for non-painters before Feb. 15, 2019. After Feb. 15, cost will be $3300 for painters and $3200 non-painters.
