Jeanne Hougan is one of our most popular teachers and a prolific oil painter. She can be found many days at the gallery teaching, painting or working. If you look closely, she just might have a touch of oil paint on her hands and sometimes even on her face. She really gets into her work! She is a Colorado native, a member of Plein Air Artists Colorado, Oil Painters of America, and the American Impressionist Society. Jeanne has studied with several nationally known artists. Her artistic style is representational, with an impressionistic flair, capturing light and its unique effect on color in everyday scenes. She is fun, enthusiastic and as bright as many of her paintings. We LOVE her!
