Barb has taken metalsmithing classes over the years but had limited time to devote to her passion while working. She needed to retire first in order to create the designs she had conceived and make her dream of becoming an entrepreneur a reality. In 2005 it finally happened; she retired and continued with classes and began making her own jewelry. She works with sterling, argentum silver, copper, and brass and makes jewelry of her own design. On a friends suggestion, she entered her first Art Show, sold well and was hooked.
She and her husband began showing her work at area art shows. The sales were good and as the time went by, she began to have repeat customers. Now, she has expanded to selling her work at several galleries. She loves what she does and is thrilled to be able to be creative at this time in her life. We love that she is part of our artist family.
