Ceramic artist, Ann Barnsley, has created a signature style! She uses a slip trailing technique creating her designs to look like a stained glass scene on most of her pieces. She finishes her pieces with warm colored glazes to mimic the translucent light found in traditional stain glass.
Her designs incorporate elements from nature in Colorado including aspens, columbine, and hummingbirds. She makes mugs, spoon rests, jewelry dishes, succulent wall gardens and wall mosaics just to name a few. She is one of the founding owner artists of pARTiculars art gallery.
Reception for Ann: Friday, September 9, 5-9PM, during ANO. Refreshments served.
