Wednesday Building Blocks to Painting in Oils and Acrylics: Sept 5,12,19,26

Geared towards adults and teens, Getting a firmer handle on the basics of painting and design will give any artist a boost toward better paintings. You will learn through discussions, demonstrations, and one-on-one instructor help as you paint. This ongoing class will cover the six building blocks on a cyclical basis: design/shape, drawing/line, values, color, edges, and brushwork/detail. Supplies are provided on the students first day of class, and after that they will be expected to bring their own supplies. In one month of classes, students will gain a basic understanding of the Building blocks. Taking 2 or more months of classes will build increased knowledge and skills.
