Description:This class is geared for beginners and intermediate painters who already have basic watercolor skills but want to learn more about watercolor using different subject matters and techniques. You will begin each session with a watercolor exercise, followed by free painting. Some examples of possible topics that may be included are color mixing and color theory, skin tones, landscapes/trees, hands and feet, different techniques such as wet on wet, dry brush, and others. The fourth class of each 4-week block will be a Fix-It/Critique session.
Bring to class: Your own supplies: Paper, watercolor paints, paintbrushes. Good quality paper such as 140# cold press is recommended. However, if you are lacking any supplies, please contact the instructor and additional supplies can be provided for a small fee.
