USING WATER MIXABLE OIL PAINT, Tuesdays, Feb 2, 9, 16, 23; 9:30 -12noon

This class will focus on learning to using water mixable oil paints. Whether you don’t like the toxic solvents, the smell medium or just want to try something different water mixable oil is a solution. You will learn traditional and modern techniques that favor water mixable oil paints. This will also will be a great class to push you to a higher skill level and develop your style.
Bring to Class: please bring whatever you are comfortable with. At the least you should have a yellow, red, blue and white in water mixable paint (cadmuim yellow light, permanent crimson, ultramarine blue and titanium white are good choices). A couple of brushes (two #6 and two #2 flat bristle brushes for example), please bring two of each size, I will explain in class. Container of water and something to paint on, again whatever you prefer but small (8×10) canvas boards are a good choice. Also please bring photo references for you to paint.
