TEXTURES&TECHNIQUES W/WATERCOLOR at Molly’s Lafayette studio-Mondays in Oct

Explore ways to incorporate a variety of liquid and dry materials, special tools and an assortment of papers and techniques to add exciting textures and special effects to your paintings. We will learn to ‘think outside the box’ and experiment with materials that we find around us. Come ready to play and explore your creativity and imagination. Class consists of 4 sessions including, but not limited to, the following: Liquid Aids- water, frisket, rubbing alcohol and opaque white; Dry Helpers-salt, sand, plastic wrap, cardboard; Paper- 140#, 300#, hot and cold pressed; Special Tools-drinking straws, stamping, natural ingredients; Other Art Supplies-ink, colored pencils, crayons, markers; Special techniques-scrubbing out, spattering, scraping out. Marterials Fee: $10 paid to instructor at 1st class
