Such Fun Earrings-Saturday June 13, 1:30-3:30pm

This class, taught by Joy Weinstein is suitable for children ages 12 and up, and for adults.
Materials fee: $20 payable to instructor; fee applies to both class and workshop time. Additional earrings are $10 each.
Description:
Start with a length of copper wire, the “skeleton” of the earring. Bend the wire into a design of loops and turns. Adhere the wire to a base of colored glass, then add colored/and dichroic bits of glass to fill in the loops. Glass frit will be used to secure the “skeleton”. Make 2 pairs.
A brief discussion will explain and demonstrate the steps, and the remainder of the time will be spent gathering materials and completing the earrings.
All materials and firing are included in the materials fee.
Bring to class: Your own needle nose pliers, if available .

WORKSHOP TIME FOR RETURNING STUDENTS
• Saturday, June 13, 1:30 – 3:30 pm – $15
If you have taken the earring class before, you can use the time to work on your own and make 2 pairs of earrings. Additional earrings are $10 each set.
