Soft Pastel Painting 101: Apr 10,17,24,May 1

This class is designed for adults and teens and meets on Wednesdays.  There is a materials fee of $10 payable to the instructor on the first day of class. Class size will be limited to 8 to ensure sufficient individual support.

4 class sessions building on each other. Each class will begin with a demo of a specific technique or subject. Designed for those who have taken my intro class or have some knowledge of materials and basic techniques. We will be further exploring all the topics in the intro class, discussing painting from photos, and simplifying a subject. The goal will be to complete one full painting (9×12) during the 4 class sessions. You will be creating a painting of your chosen subject (bring a photo). The class atmosphere will be one of comfortable supportive learning and experimentation.
