Silk Scarf Painting Workshop: Mar 31

This class is for All Ages – Kids 5 & up, Teens, Families, Adults.
Meets on a Saturday. Materials fee of $15 payable to instructor.

During this workshop you will create a special hand painted silk scarf. You will learn how to use a liquid resist to create your design on the silk, have a lunch break while it dries, and then you will paint your scarf with special silk dyes, set the dyes and then wash the resist away and iron flat. Your creation is a perfect gift to give a loved one for a special occasion – you can have the whole family paint a special scarf for mom or create a lovely scarf as a birthday celebration. Because of space constraints, this class is limited to 4 scarves. More than one person can work on a scarf if it is being made as a gift.
