Silk Painting Workshop: Sunday Sept 13, 10:30-3:30pm

This class is for All Ages – Kids 5 & up, Teens, Families, Adults.Meets on a Saturday. Materials fee of $10 payable to instructor.During this one day workshop you will create a special hand painted silk scarf. You will learn how to use a liquid resist to create your design on the silk. We will take a short break while the resist  dries and paint the scarf with special silk dyes. We will set the dyes and wash and iron to finish your piece. Your creation is a perfect gift to give a loved one for a special occasion- you can have the whole family participate. More than one person can work on a scarf if it is being made as a gift.
