SILK PAINTING WORKSHOP – Sun, May 23, 10:30-3:30pm

Because of classroom constraints, this workshop is limited to 4 scarves. You will create a special hand painted silk scarf. You will learn how to use a liquid resist to create your design on the silk. We will take a short lunch break while the resist dries and then paint the scarf with special silk dyes. We will set the dyes and wash and iron to finish your piece. Your creation is a perfect gift to give a loved one for a special occasion- you can have the whole family participate. More than one person can work on a scarf if it is being made as a gift. Contact Suzanne if you want to schedule a special birthday celebration workshop with friends.
