Painting -Oils and Acrylics-ONLINE & IN GALLERY Fridays in Nov, 9am-Noon

This is an ongoing class taught by Jeanne Hougen, which meets on Fridays from 9am-noon. You can take this class in person at the gallery, as well as online via zoom.

This class is designed for students who have taken one of Jeanne’s beginning oil or acrylics classes, or for those with some previous painting experience. Please bring the painting supplies you normally use. Getting a firmer handle on the basics of painting and design will give any artist a boost toward better paintings. You will learn through discussions, demonstrations, and one-on-one instructor help as you paint. This ongoing class will cover the six building blocks on a cyclical basis: design/shape, drawing/line, values, color, edges, and brushwork/detail.

You can purchase a 4-pack of classes for $140, which must be used within 4 months of purchase. Please contact the instructor to inform her of your intended first class. You can also purchase a $35 drop-in class after recieving confirmation from Jeanne.
