This class is taught by Donna Flebbe, and meets at her home studio. Please contact Donna for directions. There is a $20 materials fee due to the instructor on the first day of class.
Description:
Mixed Media Collage is created by applying papers and other materials to design a pleasing piece of art. This procedure takes time as you manipulate the papers and other items to plan your piece. We will discuss design and composition. Participants will learn to alter papers and learn mono print methods to create new looks. Acrylics and grounds will be used to add texture. Stencils will be used, (both commercial and your own creations) to add design and interest, paint application and gluing methods will be included. Two dimensional items can be added to your collage.
