Drawing and Color Expression Camp

Ages 6-8

Being introduced to as many art materials as possible is really important for younger students. In this camp we will focus on mark making, color, expression of ideas, and storytelling through drawing as students explore a variety of ways to create using pencil, colored pencil, wiki sticks(tempera), oil pastels and watercolor pencils. Creative thinking games and collaborative storytelling will help teach basic principles of art: line, shape, value, color, form and texture. students will bring home a new art piece at the end of each class!
