METALSMITHING: Fold Forming Metal into Jewelry – Class will meet at artist’s home studio in Lafayette – call Barb for address
Fold forming is the technique in metalsmithing where the metal is folded, hammered and reopened to form a ridge. It is a rapid, easily learned way of shaping sheet metal with hand tools. There are various methods of folding and forming which we will explore in this class.
Materials fees: $25 per class copper & brass; cost for silver is by weight. Cash or check, pay to instructor.
