Make Fused Glass Pendants and Barrettes: Sunday May 31, 10:30am-12:30pm

This Saturday class, taught by Joy Weinstein, is suitable for adults, and children ages 10 and up.
Materials Fee: $20 payable to instructor, which applies to both class and workshop time and covers 2 glass pieces. Additional pieces are $10 each for pendants and $12 for barrettes. Materials fee includes bails, barrettes and firing.
Description:
Use dichroic & colored glass to make your own pendants or barrettes. Begin with a base of colored glass, then add the design pieces of precut dichroic glass followed by a piece of clear glass to the top or bottom layer (bottom for barrettes)…3 layers in total. A handout and short discussion will help you understand how to create designs and how to get the best results with some helpful hints about the fusing process. You can experiment with your own designs, or try ones similar to the samples. There will be time to make 2 glass pieces. If you have time, you can make an extra one for women undergoing breast treatment (no extra charge).
WORKSHOP TIME FOR RETURNING STUDENTS
Description: If you have taken the class before, you can use the time as a workshop.
Cost: $18; $20 Materials Fee applies.
