LUMINOUS LANDSCAPES IN ACRYLIC Tuesdays,10:30-1:00pm,Jan 11,18, Feb. 1,8

Class is open to students who have taken my beginning acrylic class or have some acrylic painting experience. We will focus on creating loose, semi abstract landscapes, and examine how light affects what we see, exploring techniques to represent that on canvas. We will work to create vibrant colors using a limited pallet, and start working on a painting together before moving to landscapes of student’s choosing. At the end of this four-week series students will have created several luminous landscapes! Class is intended to help new or intermediate painter to work on their technique in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Bring to Class: Plan to bring canvas and acrylic painting supplies to class along with an art journal if you are keeping one. For questions about supplies please contact Cathy.
