Life Drawing-Saturdays, March 7, 14; 10am-Noon

This event is for artists wanting to practice, hone or refresh their skills by the human form using live models. The instructor will act as moderator of the class managing time and directing the model but is available for advice and gentle critique. We will start with short timed poses for warm up and then increase the length of time for the poses. This constitutes several poses so bring plenty of paper. Some classes will be using nude models so you must be comfortable with nudity or partial nudity. Costumes and props will also be used for skill development. There will be a variety of different sexes, body types and skin tones as well as different poses. No photographing the models, please.

Bring to class: Your own supplies; paper (newsprint is good for the quicker poses) and anything you want to draw with, pencil, paints, pastels, charcoal, extra easels (I only have 3 floor easels but plenty of tabletop ones), etc. However, if you are lacking any supplies, please contact the instructor in advance of the class and additional supplies can be provided for a small fee.
