LIFE DRAWING CLASS -Broomfield Studio- Thursday Jan 26, 6:00-8:30PM

This is a figure drawing class with live models. The class will start out with some instruction and then timed drawing warm-ups to loosen up, followed by longer periods and ending with a long pose of 30 minutes. Most of the instruction will be in charcoal but you can use whatever drawing implement you are comfortable with. There will be a brief model break during the middle of the class. (Life modeling is hard work!) Even though there will be some drawing instruction at the beginning and throughout, artists who are familiar with life drawing are welcome to join the class, as we all need a brush up sometimes, right?

NOTE: This class may or may not have nude models at some of the classes, depending on model availability.

Bring to class: Bring to class a large newsprint tablet, other types of paper if desired and preferred drawing implements, such as charcoal, pastel, pencil, etc. Contact the instructor if you need a supply list, or supplies can be provided (with notice for a small fee). Standing easels and tabletop easels, are available for use.

Final Note: My studio is in a basement and we own a cat, so there are stairs and dander, so prepare accordingly.
