LAURIE’S WATERCOLOR WORKSHOPS-ANIMALS: Tues, 6-8pm, August 1,8,15,22

Adults & Teens 15 and over – Minimum 2, maximum 8

Prerequisite: Some previous experience required. These workshops are for beginning watercolor students who have taken a watercolor class before, watercolor artists whose techniques are rusty, artists who want some continuing instruction or who just want to learn new techniques. If you have no experience, I suggest you take one of the other beginning watercolor classes offered by pARTiculars, or another organization, prior to this class.

These workshop classes have been formatted so that you can choose to attend individual classes or the set of four classes. Each set of four classes will have a main topic with each class within the group of four having an individual topic related to the main subject. Note: Flower subjects might be changed depending on what is in bloom or available at florists. Based on the topics you may bring your own reference photos, but the instructor will provide images for the lessons as well.

Bring to class: Bring your own paints, paper, and brushes. Optional: Bring to class, three or four photos of subjects you would like to paint. These can also generate good discussion for what makes a good reference photo. (Printed, please, not just in your phone.) If you don’t have a printer, let the instructor know in advance and they can be printed for you. Reference photos for student’s use will also be provided by the instructor, so your own are not required.

Note: If you do not have supplies, you can borrow supplies from the instructor for the first class.
