Iris folding is a fun and easy-to-learn technique to make holiday cards. The technique: Using a pattern secured to a flat surface, folded paper strips are taped on top of the pattern following a numbered sequence. One at a time, in order, the colored strips circumvent the iris, simulating the iris of a camera. In the early 1900’s this technique was started in the Netherlands using paper found inside envelopes. (recycling!).
Materials Needed: Materials, except scotch tape & scissors will be mailed to you: paper, cardstock, stickers, envelopes, instructions, zoom info. You will have enough paper to make 4 cards.
You must register one week in advance, so you get the materials.
