DRAWING STUDIO SKILLS: Figures – ONLINE, Tues January 5,12,19,26, 1:30-3:00

This class is for beginning and experienced students. Beginners will learn the basics while experienced drawing students and painters “brush up” on technical skills. Each week you will get techniques and tips on how to draw the figure. We start with basic standing figures, then go to sitting poses and figures in motion. If time allows, we will also cover the different proportions involved in sketching kids. Students will work from photographs with clothed figures provided by the instructor. The last week we will focus on short sketches and how to simplify the figure. You will be amazed at what you can learn and draw!
Materials: Bring a 9”x12” spiral bound sketchbook (or computer paper), a set of graphite pencils, and an eraser to class. You will be amazed at what you can learn and draw!
