DIGITAL ART INTRODUCTION w/ADOBE PHOTOSHOP – Sat, June 25, 11:00am-2:30 pm

Teen to Adult: No experience necessary; beginners welcome.
Imagination is the limit within the digital art space. The software tools in this space are powerful, but also intimidating. Come have fun learning about the basics of Adobe Photoshop (Creative Cloud) and create a simple composite image! You’ll learn:
-General introduction to Photoshop and raster images.
-Layout overview of Photoshop along with some customizations.
-The powerful layers tool.
-Opening (multiple images) in Photoshop for composites.
-Applying photo adjustments.
-Introduction to selections, masking and brushes.
-Bringing everything together for a simple composite!
Minimum students required: 3
No experience necessary; beginners very welcome.
Bring to Class: A computer having access to Photoshop (CC) is highly recommended for joining the exercises in class. Adobe offers a 7 day free trial which is also possible to use to join along.
