COLOR THEORY WITH WATERCOLOR – Sunday, Oct 31, 11:30am – 2:00pm

Have you ever tried to mix a color and ended up with a muddy mess or painted an object and wondered what color would be good for the background? Many color theory classes are taught in relation to acrylic or oil paints but very few will address the use of watercolor, which can behave differently. This class will be specific to watercolor use but there will be a small demo with acrylic paint to demonstrate one aspect of color theory.
Materials: I will provide all materials needed but if you have a palette of favorite watercolors feel free to bring them as they may be useful for some of the exercises.
There will be discussion of color theory and also practical applications and exercises using watercolors provided or your own watercolor.
Bring to class: All materials and tools provided but bring your own favorite watercolor paints if you want to.
