BEGINNING&REFRESHER MOSAICS@Delcia’s Studio:Saturday June 10, 8 am-12 noon

You will be introduced to the world of modern mosaics. Delcia has worked in stained glass and modern mosaics for 21 years and has received numerous art awards throughout her career. Learn how to use the glass wheeled nipper and tile nipper. • Create your own design or use design books available for inspiration. Basic design outline will be transferred onto your substrate or base. Construction of your mosaic starts in the 4-hour hands on intensive class with demonstrations, tips and tricks of the trade. Completion of projects to be done on your own. • Grouting your finished piece will require a follow up 2-hour session, allowing students plenty of time to complete their projects at home. A future date convenient for all students will be chosen. Grouting is additional $20 fee payable to instructor. Additional 2 hours required for grouting the finished piece.
