Beginning Watercolor-Thursday Sept 24, 6-9pm

Description:
Come on in, the water is fine! A lot of people are terrified of painting with watercolor but if you learn the right techniques to begin with it can be fun! This class will include demonstrations of many different techniques. This class will be an ongoing class so instruction will be catered to the students in each class as they continue to attend. We will learn how to control the water, color mixing, using the white of the page to creating the darkest darks, masking, creating texture, skin tones, reflections, water, (yes, even beginners can do these) etc. Bring several photo references that you might want to try (do not use another photographers image without their permission). I will also provide some still life items and/or flower bouquet for practice. You can take home the paintings.
Bring to class: All materials provided; supplies stay with the instructor. Contact the instructor ahead of time if you want to take home a watercolor starter set. (includes premium paper, paint brushes and paints).
