Beginning Oil Painting: May 8,15,22,29; 10am-12noon

This class is for adults and teens, and meets on Wednesdays.

This 4 week session is designed to give the beginning oil painter the basic skills necessary to begin their oil painting journey. You will learn about the various supplies and techniques used by oil painters, and be able to hone in on the ones you would like to use, as well as the ones most necessary for all oil painters. You will practice both painting from life, as well as from a photo reference, and learn the basics of the visual language needed to create a work of art.

Supplies will be discussed during the first class, with a supply list being provided that day. Feel free to bring in any supplies you currently have, but no supplies are required for the first class.
