This class is for adults and teens ages 16 and up, and meets on Wednesdays.
Description:
This 4 week session is designed to give the beginning acrylic painter the basic skills necessary to begin their acrylic painting journey. You will learn about the various supplies and techniques used by acrylic painters, and be able to hone in on the ones you would like to use, as well as the ones most necessary for all acrylic painters. You will practice both painting from life, as well as from a photo reference, and learn the basics of the visual language needed to create a work of art.
Bring to class: A supply list will be given out on the first day of class. All supplies needed for the first day are provided, but you are welcome to bring any supplies that you currently have. You will need to bring in your own supplies for the remaining 3 weeks.
