Art Journaling :Monday, 6-8pm – May 25

Materials Fee: $5 to be paid to instructor at time of class. 

This class will take place at Linda’s home studio in North East Boulder (Four Mile Creek neighborhood)-contact teacher for exact address.

Bring: A journal of your choice. It should have blank (unlined) pages and be fairly thick paper. I recommend either mixed media paper or watercolor paper. An old book that you no longer want or a magazine with thick, non-glossy paper will also work well. If you are not sure about what type to buy, just give me a call and we can discuss.
Description: 
Have you heard of art journaling? Maybe you’ve seen someone’s art journal and thought it would be fun but don’t know where to start. Art journaling is great for reducing stress and getting your creative juices flowing. You will learn you are more creative than you thought. The class atmosphere will be one of fun, comfortable, supportive, learning and experimentation. I will give you some prompts and demo many different techniques and medium usage as well as showing many ideas from my personal art journals and books. Then each student will have plenty of time to create several journal pages using there own interpretation of those techniques and prompt. Students are also free to branch out with their own unique techniques. We will be utilizing many various tools, marking devices and materials throughout the class.
