Art Journaling – August 9, 6:00-8:00PM
August 9, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Art journaling is great for reducing stress and getting your creative juices flowing. You will learn you are more creative than you thought. The class atmosphere will be fun, comfortable, supportive, learning and experimentation. Linda will give you some prompts and demo different techniques and material usage as well as show many ideas from her personal art journals and books. Each student will have plenty of time to create several journal pages using their own interpretation of those techniques and prompts. Students are also free to branch out with their own unique techniques.
Materials Needed: We will use various tools, marking devices and materials throughout the class – don’t worry it’s mostly stuff you have around the house. Once you sign up the instructor will contact you regarding materials. Watercolors, crayons, markers, pens, glue, old magazines are the main ingredients.Must have: A journal of your choice. It should have blank (unlined) pages and be fairly thick paper. Either mixed media paper or watercolor paper is recommended. If you are not sure about what type to buy, just give Linda a call.
