ACRYLIC PAINTING FIGURES IN LANDSCAPES:Tues,10:30-1:00pm•OCT 31,NOV 7,14,28

Adults and Teens – minimum 4, max 10 participants

This class series will focus on adding simple figures to your landscape or cityscape painting to add scale and create a more interesting and engaging painting. We will explore simple techniques for creating figures and how to incorporate them into your work. Our compositions will feature adults and children as gestural figures as opposed to portraits. This class series is open to those with some previous painting experience or who have taken Cathy’s Acrylic Essentials course.

Materials: Students will supply all materials including a sketch book and sketching tools, paint, brushes, pallet and painting surface of your choice. Some reference photos will be provided but students are encouraged to take and bring their own. Please bring a phone with a camera to aid in developing your painting and documenting your progress. Cathy will share a materials list with enrolled students.
