We have a real treat for this month’s Guest Artist…Colleen Tucker. Colleen paints exciting, colorful acrylic paintings. She has a great eye and feel for composition and the color & texture of her work plus, it is very exciting to watch her create a piece of art. She uses lots of paint and color and the entire process is dynamic and fluid. Colleen will be showing her work here Oct. 4-31st and is planning on having a wine and finger food reception Oct. 12 from 5-7 PM right here at the gallery. Here is a bit more about Colleen…
Colleen is an art historian, an artist and teacher with an impressive portfolio. She is inspired by the American Abstract Expressionists as well as the many 20th century color field painters. Her spontaneity and love of color inspires painters to approach their work with a fresh eye.
