As the Owners, Members and Consignors of pARTiculars gather to celebrate 15 years of being in business together, here are a few snippets from some of us telling the world why we love this gallery so much.
‘What do you like best about being an owner of pARTiculars?’ Working with the other owners, who have become family. The fact that we have created a thriving business that encourages artists to grow and develop their art and have become a cornerstone of the community. Suzanne Connolly-Howes, Owner, Gallery Manager.
‘Where do you see pARTiculars in the future?’ I see the gallery becoming more successful as more art savvy folks move into the area. I believe we should be expanding to include more abstract art and maybe even find a larger space! Cathy Faughnan, Member, Teacher
‘How long have you been involved with pARTiculars? About 12 years as a student. A couple in watercolor, then oils. It will be 2 years for me as a member the first of September. Charla Nicholas, Member
‘What is something funny or memorable that happened while you were working?’ For me the most memorable thing is the students faces when they have had a great time learning something new. Linda Bice, Member, Teacher
